Frequently asked questions

Do I need internet to use My Lyrics?

Not for your saved lyrics: they work offline. You do need it for online search, AI chat and other internet-based features. Translation downloads the language the first time you use it.

What does the free version include?

Everything essential to organize your lyrics, with ads and these limits: up to 3 setlists of 12 songs, limited uses in some tools, one cloud backup per week and a daily limit in the AI chat. The features page has the full table.

What happens when I reach a tool’s limit?

The app lets you know. You can watch an ad to reset that tool’s uses or switch to PRO to use it without limits.

How do I remove ads and limits?

With PRO, which has two options: a monthly subscription inside the free app (from the My Lyrics PRO menu or in Settings) or a one-time purchase of My Lyrics PRO, a separate app with permanent premium access.

How do I cancel my subscription?

From Google Play: Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → My Lyrics → Cancel.

How do I keep my lyrics safe if I change phones?

In Settings, make a local backup (to your device) or a cloud backup. For the cloud one you enter your email and a 4-digit number of your choice: write them down, because you need them to recover it. On the new phone, import the backup; this replaces the current database.

Are my lyrics uploaded to a server?

No. They are stored on your device. They only leave it if you make a cloud backup or use features like the AI chat or online search. The details are in the privacy policy.

How do I use the local web editor?

Go to Tools, choose Local web editor and tap Start. Open the URL shown in your computer’s browser. Keep the app open and connect the phone and the computer to the same Wi-Fi network.
